Head Athletic Trainer
Rachel joined the Saunders Medical Center therapy team in 2018 as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with her Bachelor of Science, majoring in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology. Rachel has experience at the University of Washington, University of Puget Sound, University of Idaho, and US Olympic Development Program.
SMC offers Concussion Management Program called XLNTbrain (Pronounced Excellent Brain) free of charge to the local schools in the county. She works with the SMC Providers to provide the best care to high school students in the area. Athletic Trainers, Coaches, and Parents are all part of this program.
Rachel serves the community by covering youth football, baseball, softball, and wrestling tournaments. She also serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for Wahoo High School's student-athletes.

Rachel enjoys traveling, the outdoors, chasing around her 12 nieces and nephews, and watching sports. Rachel is from Morse Bluff, Nebraska.
